:قال الإمام أبو عبدالله جعفر بن محمّد الصادق، عليـهما الـسلام
مَن دَخَلَ فِي هَذَا ٱلـدِّيْنِ بِـٱلرِّجَالِ،
أَخْرَجَـهُ مِنْـهُ ٱلـرِّجَالُ كَـمَا أَدْخَلُوْهُ فِيْـهِ؛
مَن دَخَلَ فيْـهِ بِـٱلْـكِتَابِ وَ ٱلـسُّنَّةِ، زَاْلَتِ ٱلـجِبَالُ قَبْلَ أن يَزُوْلَ
“Whosoever enters this Religion (ha-dhāʾd-Dīn) because of people, will be made to leave it because of people — just as they were made to enter it because of them; but whosoever enters it because of the Book of God (al-Kitāb) and the Prophetic Way (as-Sun‧naħ), mountains shall pass-and-perish before they do (i.e., their conviction)!”

Q1 - My father is suffering from cancer, can I give him small piece of turbah of Karbala with some water in order to get better?
A - In our ahadith a small amount of turbah of Karbala with some water is recommended for Shifa, although this step is in addition to taking the necessary medical steps and following a doctors advice.
