• Q1 - My wife likes to dress up my five year old daughter in shorts when she goes out. She says it is not haram. But I don't like it, what does Islam say about this? 

  A - It is good if you strengthen your communication with your wife and talk and discussyour ideological principles. When both of you are on the same page it is easier to implement. Yes from a nurturing point of view training our children from younger age about haya and iffat (modesty, chastity) will have a good impact for theirfuture both in their worldly and spiritual lives.
