:قال الإمام أبو عبدالله جعفر بن محمّد الصادق، عليـهما الـسلام
مَن دَخَلَ فِي هَذَا ٱلـدِّيْنِ بِـٱلرِّجَالِ،
أَخْرَجَـهُ مِنْـهُ ٱلـرِّجَالُ كَـمَا أَدْخَلُوْهُ فِيْـهِ؛
مَن دَخَلَ فيْـهِ بِـٱلْـكِتَابِ وَ ٱلـسُّنَّةِ، زَاْلَتِ ٱلـجِبَالُ قَبْلَ أن يَزُوْلَ
“Whosoever enters this Religion (ha-dhāʾd-Dīn) because of people, will be made to leave it because of people — just as they were made to enter it because of them; but whosoever enters it because of the Book of God (al-Kitāb) and the Prophetic Way (as-Sun‧naħ), mountains shall pass-and-perish before they do (i.e., their conviction)!”

Q1 - The other night I did wudhu and immediately after I passed gas (farted). The smell stayed around me for about 1 minute, but I did wudhu 20 seconds after I passed gas. Is my wudhu still ok if I do it while the smell still surrounds me?
A - The smell of gas does not invalidate wudhu.
